In 8 years Justin has had the pleasure of directing and shooting broadcast, commercial and corporate spots for HBO, Logitech, Verizon Wireless, A+ Federal Credit Union, Sweetwater Living, Grooveshark, LHP Hospital Group, Fuddruckers, Ducati, Doritos, University of Texas School of Education, University of North Texas, among others, as well as work on productions featuring Coors Light and Home Depot. He’s worked alongside agencies such as The Richards Group, ClickHere, Invodo and Tilted Chair Creative. Wow!

Digital Shakedown has been a living dream of his. Educating clients with new technologies such as 8K/6K/5K/4K video formats, with a 4K delivery master, using RED Digital Cinema products. This is what he was born to do.

In his rarely sparse time, Justin shoots stock footage for Shutterstock and Getty Images, including aerial 4K footage. The love of his life, Gwen the Dog, takes up the majority of his time being playful and cute.

Austin has owned and operated Double A Pictures since it’s inception in 2005. He has traveled the world producing a wide variety of film and video projects. He’s followed missionaries through Kenya, lived at orphanages in India, floated in the Dead Sea and witnessed the political arena of Speaker’s Corner in London – all while wearing a camera.

Austin has directed both long and short video formats. His first feature length film, Singularity Principle, is available on iTunes and Dish.

As a producer partner with Digital Shakedown, he has helped bring to life the Logitech branding videos under the Digital Shakedown moniker, as well as provide production support for HBO’s “The Leftovers” season 2 behind the scenes.

He has a White German Shepherd and enjoys solving Rubik’s Cubes in his spare time.
